Night work: what the law says
The legal minimum uplift, and what the market actually pays above it.
What counts as night work
The Russian Labour Code (article 96) treats any hour worked between 22:00 and 06:00 as night work — regardless of the shift's total length, only the hours that fall within that window count as such.
The legal minimum premium
The law requires a premium of at least 20% on the hourly rate for every night hour worked (Government Decree No. 554) — a floor, not a ceiling: many sectors (logistics, security, night-time hospitality) pay noticeably more on the real market.
How it shows up on the platform
The rate shown on every mission is already the rate actually paid, night premium included where it applies — no need to recalculate anything, what you see before applying is what gets paid.
What's still worth checking
Certain categories of workers (pregnant women, minors, people with a disability per medical opinion) are legally excluded from night work. This article is general information, not legal advice — if you're unsure about your own situation, professional advice remains the best source.
