Work that pays the same week
GetEasyWork connects people who need a few hours of work with companies who need a few hours of hands. Everyone is identified, the money is held before the shift, and it is paid within 24 hours.
Why we built it
Casual work in Russia runs on phone calls, group chats and cash. It works until it does not: the shift is cancelled the night before, the hours are counted differently at the end, the pay arrives three weeks later or never. Neither side is dishonest — there is simply nothing written down. We built the written-down part.
The rules we hold ourselves to
Both sides pass the same identity check before the first shift. It costs neither of them anything, and it is the reason a stranger can be trusted with a set of keys at six in the morning.
The amount is held on the platform as soon as an application is accepted. A worker who shows up will be paid, whatever happens to the employer afterwards.
Check-in and check-out are geolocated or coded on site. When a dispute happens, there is something to look at other than two conflicting memories.
Workers pay nothing, ever. Nine per cent from the employer covers the verification, the held payment, the disputes and the paperwork.
